Graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle ENSCI-Les Ateliers, and laureate of the Académie de France in Rome, his creative works are influenced by cinema. In each of these contemporary interior design projects, Fischer’s artistic approach reveals his dual outlook on his atmosphere which is directed both inwards— as a participant, a user, an actor —and outwards— as a critical observer of what seems to be, or could become the central unique design concern.
About formal aspects of space or product design, Ramy Fischler prefers to question the value of function: anticipating tomorrow’s behaviors, defining the reason and use of each modern interior design project, imagining the environment where a fine craftsmanship piece would be real. His contemporary interior design projects for private residences and luxury restaurants regularly give him the opportunity to design furniture, which he produces himself and shows in contemporary art galleries. Furthermore, Ramy Fischler also creates hybrid objects that exemplify his capacity to blur the boundaries between design disciplines.
